I build complete web applications with React, TypeScript, Node.js and MySQL — from relational data and secure APIs to responsive interfaces, real-time systems and cloud deployment.
Six years of sustained learning and building, enterprise software experience, and a current focus on agentic development with Claude Code and Cowork.

I did not enter software engineering through a shortcut. Since 2020 I have invested thousands of hours studying, building, debugging and learning how complete systems work — more than 1,700 of them publicly tracked on WakaTime since 2022, and many more off the tracker.
2020
A deliberate career change
Transitioned from finance and operations — ETF operations at BNY Mellon, a management role at Sigma/Andbank — into software engineering, bringing analytical discipline, attention to detail and professional accountability.
2021–2022
Formal foundation
Completed an intensive year-long full-stack development program at John Bryce College and built numerous frontend, backend and full-stack applications.
2022
Flagship builds — before AI assistants
Built complete applications with React, Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, MySQL and MongoDB — authentication, real-time communication, admin tooling — before generative coding assistants became part of the workflow.
2023–2025
Enterprise delivery
Delivered enterprise Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions while working remotely through Matrix, with ZIM Integrated Shipping Services as the primary client engagement.
2025–2026
Agentic engineering
Expanded deeply into AI-assisted and agentic software engineering: Claude Code, Cowork, reusable skills, plugins, specialized agents and verification-driven development workflows.

A Real-Time Full-Stack Vacation Platform
{{ t }}
I designed and built an end-to-end vacation management platform in which users register, explore destinations and follow vacations, while administrators manage listings through a protected dashboard. Socket.io synchronizes relevant changes across connected clients in real time.

What I Would Modernize Today
The platform still runs as it was built in 2022. Revisiting it today, I would reach for:

An Authenticated E-Commerce System from Catalog to Receipt
{{ t }}
I built a complete shopping platform with user registration, authentication, product discovery, category browsing, cart management, checkout, order processing, downloadable receipts and a protected administrator interface for product and inventory management.
Yammie Restaurant needed online ordering. I built the backend in TypeScript following Node’s layered architecture — controller, business-logic and data-access layers over MySQL — then published it as an npm package with automated tests, a seed database, a Postman collection and run instructions, so anyone can stand it up and verify it.
Working within a distributed Agile team, I helped build and support enterprise Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions — across sales and marketing — used in global sales and customer-service operations.

05 — Agentic AI
Engineering with Agents, Not Just Prompts
Over the past year I have focused deeply on agentic software development: creating structured environments in which AI systems receive durable context, specialized capabilities, acceptance criteria and verification steps.

Before engineering — finance & operations
ETF Operations Analyst — BNY Mellon
New York · 2012–2015
Fund accounting, reconciliations and trade settlements for ETF operations; money movement including wires, SPOs and SWIFTs; corporate actions accurately reflected across indexes; equity, fixed-income, FX and cash break reconciliation — liaising with institutional brokers including Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse.
Finance & Operations Manager — Sigma Premium Wealth Management, part of Andbank
Global HQ · 2018–2020
Oversaw financial operations for high-net-worth clients with assets exceeding $1B — reporting, investment monitoring and account management across foreign-currency holdings, stocks, bonds, dividends, alternative investments, loans and pensions, including 30+ quarterly reports.
The discipline behind my engineering — accountability, precision and financial-domain fluency. The career is software.
08 — About
Self-Directed by Default
I am a highly self-directed software engineer who learns by going deeply into how systems work. I transitioned into engineering in 2020 after working in finance and operations, then spent years studying, building full-stack applications and developing the technical foundation that led into professional enterprise work.
I enjoy taking complicated problems apart, learning unfamiliar systems and turning requirements into reliable software. My current focus is combining strong frontend and full-stack fundamentals with agentic AI workflows that improve research, implementation and quality assurance.
